process of my latest painting






































Step 1 Pencil sketch




Step 2 Yellow Orche underpaint







Step 3 Underpaint layer 2 Burnt Sienna






Step 4. underpaint layer #3 bunt umber







First layer of semi opaque paint adding ultramarine blue to the palette.





Second layer of semi opaque paint, mixing more white on this layer for more opaqueness. This is probably most opaque layer.





More washes and glazes






Almost done, working on details from this point with more washes and glazes.

Little ukulele jam with my friend Richard Marchetta. The tune is call West Fork Girl, traditional American fiddle tune. I adopted it to the ukulele.
